Coming Soon, but not to Japan.

Living in Japan in these modern times I get the benefit of seeing previews for upcoming movies in the states, and then I get to live with the assumption that most of them probably won’t come out in Japan for another year or so, and that’s if it does pretty well in the states.

So I figure i’ll occassionally list upcoming movies that I want to see, but probably never will. Let’s get started:

employee of the month
Employee of the Month: Dean Cook in a movie. That’s all I’ve really got to say. As far as I’m concerned, everybody should be there opening night. This looks like a kind of frat-pack style movie, but who doesn’t love those? A bunch of slackers running around being stupid? What more could you ask for? Also with Jessica Simpson, take that as a positive or a negative as you will.

Runners up:
Half Nelson
School For Scoundrels
The Last King of Scotland

On November 1, 2001, artist Ahree Lee began taking daily digital snapshots of her own face; and she has continued this project every day since. In 2004, Lee compiled all of her daily images into a montage with a wistful musical score.
