NASCAR Has Rad Trophies

NASCAR shotgun trophy

For those of you that don’t know NASCAR is stock car racing… Think “Days of Thunder”. Well, I never realized how ridiculous the winners trophy are. The Main sponsor of the event is in charge designing the trophy, and as you will see it doesn’t have to relate back to racing. My favorite is the $65,000 hand carved Beretta Jubilee 12-Gauge Shotgun, for the Texas Motor Speedway. That is more then I spent on my car! That make’s total since… win a race… get a shotgun.
NASCAR concrete trophy

This one’s the Concrete Monster, Dover International Speedway. Kinda resembles that monster on the Matterhorn ride at Disneyland.
