here is a list of the top 10 cities on the green list for the united states. Los Angeles is on there but sadly it only gets 5% of its energy from renewable resources. berkley is number one with 17%. i think we can do better so this is my little earthday rant to encourage people to do their part. ride a bike, walk, carpool, bring a canvas bag to the grocery store, shower with a buddy. do what ever you can ever little bit helps. here is another website with a few tips to simply change your lifestyle and possibly save some money and resources. i would love to hear your suggestions to living with a lighter impact on the world.

A favorite pastime of music dorks everywhere is coming up with a spectacular band name. To all of our chagrin, those names are usually already taken. But at least we can take pleasure in the few moments that we thought we were original. Here are my two latest:

I know you’ve got some of your own, why not share and take credit before someone takes something great like “Gnarles in Charge” and turns it into a significantly less-cool name like “Gnarles Barkely”

i don’t know what the obsession is with barfing rainbows, but i guess this site “is good”, as my friend ryan says, “for people who like it”.

• If you live in the Los Angeles Area, and you’re down with Whateves, you will be down with Monday Micheltorea Movie Night. We watch films outdoors in the backyard with surround sound and a fire pit.

We kicked off the new season last night with The Warrirors and Next week we will be watching The Wiz.

Films start on monday at 9pm sharp. Bring a chair or blanket.
