I NEVER… ever watch MTV anymore. But, there was a time, a long time ago back when the “M” in MTV stood for Music. I miss though days. I miss seeing Martha Quinn talk about some cool new band or even that wooden headed Kurt Loader deliver the news. This was a time when being a kid meant that you only had MTV to turn to to see a show/music video about people your age on TV. Nowadays it seems like there are dozen’s of stations that only cater to the new generations.
I remember the first few seasons of The Real World. How the show was new and exciting to watch. No scripts, no plots, just people with different personality’s living under one roof. Now MTV instead of renting a huge apartment and filming there for the duration of the show, they decided to create and build there own house on the CBS lot. The house is almost complete and is located in Hollywood on Sunset studio lot.
