Evel Knievel Dead at 69.
This dude should have died years ago. Actually, I thought he did. But he didn’t, he died today. Sure, the kids these days do more incredible things at the X games, but this guy was original, and didn’t even do it well. RIP.
When I was younger, I liked Super Dave Osbourn more.

True Story: My dad used to get his hair cut at the same barber shop as Evel Knevel. One day my dad was leaving and Evel was waking up to the shop. My dad held the door for him as he came in, all rickety and old, and kinda was in shock about who standing right there. He stood there for a second with the door open, and Evel turns and says to him “Close the fucking door, you’re letting all the A/C out!”
Lesson here: being a stunt man and abusing substances will give you a lifetime of product endorsements and sound bites the world can cherish long after your gone.
