Beginning in less then an hour Los Angeles is predicted to be wet. It will continue to be wet until Tuesday. Normally I don’t pay attention to the Los Angles weather guys (Fritz Colman, Johnny Mountain or Dallas Rain) but when my iPhone has 4 rain clouds in a row I listen up.

We are expecting as much as 5 inches and up to 10 inches in the mountains areas. Flash flooding and mud slides could hit Friday night.

The rain is not expected to set any records, but like usual in LA the rain will slow us down.

So drive safe and stay dry!

I told myself that I wasn’t going to use a computer for the entire length of my Christmas holiday that started Dec 22nd and ended today. So as you can see I need to do a lot of catch up reading. Many things happened to me this Christmas: I was hit in the face with a hammer (ouch), I have tasted my new favorite candy (delicious alert coming soon) and I finally saw Gerrard and Agnus the skunks that live under my deck (I have photos, coming soon).

Also, for all you Rocket From the Crypt fans John Reis 800th side project recorded a demo. They are called The Night Marchers (check out the demo here). This was sent to me tonight, its demo quality but worth checking out. It’s pretty much in the same vein as Hot Snakes and RFTC soooo, be prepared for a boner.

Oh yeah, sorry for the ramble…and back to my original post. If your a zombie and want to eat healthy check out the Pyramid above.

This new guerrilla advertising for itsawonderful-world.com is weird.

The site says its going to launch on the Jan 8th 2008, and the myspace page says the Dec 12th 2007.

Either way, these are pasted all over mideast los angeles, silverlake to echo park.

other posters include, Skulls, Andy Warhol, Madonna and Britney kissing.

with minimal internet investigating, I figure this is the dude in charge, a street artist named zevs.

Human Tetris II

What they have to fit thru is humanly impossible.
There is a great Pink Floyd knock-off for the theme song, but it has a Japanese Techno twist.

Being unemployed has its perks, I discovered this video and DJ dude today. I might be way late on this, cause I have heard this song while being out at “‘Da’ Club,” But I never knew who it was. Much like most music I hear in the “Da’ Club”.
This video, I believe is a zombie car, and I believe it to be awesome.

This DJ guy is pretty good, sounds like a brother to Daft Punk and cousin to Justice.

Sample his goods on itunes if you care.

On a completely different tip, have you seen the new browser on youtube?

youtube view

While you’re in expanded full screen mode, next to the play button there is a node looking molecular symbol. If you click that, a bunch of pods appear and let you browse futuristic style with animated circles.

A friend of mine at the Obey HQ sent this over to me, if your thinking about going you should try to go Friday. Most taggers, wannabe rebels and “fashion” dudes either A) Don’t get up before 11am. B) Are still in High School at this time. or C) Are working stiffs.

I have gone the last few sales and usually have found something that I have added to my wardrobe. Also, if you want your house to match your clothes then head over to The Marry Karnowsky Gallery for the Imperfect Union show. Once there you will find new work by Shepard Fairey.
