I am not a deadbeat. I pay my shit on time.
Because of the move, we switched banks. We went from the juggernaut – Bank of America, to a southern, somewhat ramshackle outfit – SunTrust. Mistake. I just realized that they haven’t paid my last 2 student loan payments via online bill pay, and they just failed to process 4 more payments last week. FUCKERS. So now I am going to chew their asses out for screwing me up like this. I got stuff to buy, like Nutella, some tube socks for tennis each week, and some new tires for the hatchback. I can’t be troubled with paying bills the OLD FASHIONED way, with a pen and paper. NO!
I am also going to take a second to point out that tonight this turned into a nasty argument in the Hayes household, and I kid you not, I had a glass thrown at my head. Luckily things settled down, and we went back to being yuppie assholes and we’re now both sitting on the overpriced couch nerding out with our Mac Books and eating Oreos.
I should have been suspect when they couldn’t even take money from my SunTrust checking account to my SunTrust mortgage account to pay my house bill last month. ITS THE SAME DAMN COMPANY!!!! Nobody thinks of this shit? “Oh, people may buy a house from us, and then open a checking account, you know, seeing how we’re a bank and shit let’s hook them up with a simple easy way to pay us back for the house that we sold them.” WRONG. I guess it would be easy not to get mad at this if:
1) I didn’t care about my shit being paid
2) I was white trash
3) If I didn’t design websites and user interfaces for a living, and I was white trash.
But, I do, and I am not. I know how things should work, and I also know that a Moon Pie and an RC Cola go great together, but that’s not the point here.
The point is:

I agree. FUCK Suntrust. They are useless shitbags. Over the years they have lost my deposits, disallowed me arguing unauthorized payments and hit me with endless overdraft fees. I have to agree with the guy that said never use a bank with “Trust” in the name.
OH yeah did I also mention they lied to me about removing my ex-wife from the account many years ago. So, to reiterate – FUCK SUNTRUST.

Yeah, just got fucked over by them just today. Had funds in my account and they STILL charged me some ridiculous $36 fee. Fuck ‘em.
