Beef Recall Distribution List
I’m sure you have heard by now about the 143 million pounds of beef that was recalled from a Southern California Slaughterhouse (Westland/Hallmark), if not… read the full story. The distributed beef was claimed to be at “low risk” and was sent to many Southern Californian restaurants and schools.
The Department of Heath Care Services has started to compile a list of places that have received the recalled meat along with companies that use the meat in their meals. The list is growing due to the Department of Public Health amendments. Keep this list handy, I have already found a few local places I frequent that uses Westland/Hallmark as their beef distributor.
