I heart cereal

Ever since I was a little kid I have loved cereal. To this day I will still eat cereal for dinner. But hands down the best cereal has come out of the 80’s. Best box’s, best cereal ideas and best commercials. Below are some of my all time favorite cereals and cereal ads… Madex do you still have the “Crackles Cereal” box picture?

Please add to the list if I have miss any cereal you love.

Pac-Man Cereal
Nintendo - NES Cereal
Nerds Cereal
Crispy Critters Cereal
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
ET Cereal
Ghost Buster Cereal
C-3PO Cereal

I love *Count Chocula*, *Franken Berry* & *Boo Berry*…in fact i just found Boo Berry at the $Store a the corner of Maltman and Sunset in Silverlake and had to buy a box…it’s nutritional value is off the charts…i can wait to pour milk on it and go back in time

Fun Fact: The three cereals can be found year-round in the Midwestern United States at Super Wal-Mart, IGA Supermarkets as well as online at websites such as Amazon.com.

Oh good links and good claim on the Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry. I have actually never had them… My mom growing up though they had to much sugar.

Here is Crackles Phil, still the best cereal box illustration.

Dude, I get Count, boo and Frankinberry at the dollar store too. I eat them on Saturdays.

I also loved Bill and Ted’s Cereal. Most Excellent!

No way would my mom let us buy any of those cereals. i was already hopped up enough as it was on sugar, although Cookie Crisp still brings back memories whenever I eat it to this day (especially the way the roof of my mouth will be COMPLETELY CUT AND RAW from the cookies scraping against it!!)

The Hayes household currently has 9 boxes of cereal in the pantry:

    Cheerios
    Rice Chex
    Rasin Bran Crunch
    Rasin Bran (see below)
Generic Corn Flakes (they’re one of the few cereals that don’t matter as far as brand goes)
    Frosted Mini Wheats
Commemorative National Champs Box of Gator Flakes (Univ of Florida Cereal)
    Apple Jacks
    Corn Pops

Much like Phil, I too LOVE cereal. The very inspiring thing is that my daughter recently demanded that her mother buy “Raisin Bran, don’t like Rasin Crunch” at the store last week. My heart filled with joy at the sound of that.

[...] Look out world ‘cuz here comes Tony the Tiger and the Corn Flakes Fooster. While the designs are much more NASCAR then gangsta, it still is god awful, and needs to be celebrated. Under the hood sure has it finger on the pulse of, well, cereal lovers. Check out these poor dudes modeling these incredible eye sores on American fashion.   [...]
