Ask A Bumps - Dream Analysis

Dear Ask A Bumps:
Analyze This…
So you know when you wake up and you have that small window just before you forget what you were dreaming about? Today I had that so I did my best to remember my dream and though who else better to listen and comment on my dream then the expert advice giver.

Last night I was dreaming that I was hanging out with Elvis. We were friends. We were in sailor outfits leaving out battle ship and heading for shore. Elvis had his guitar with him. I remember we were talking and singing as we walked. Like in his movies. Later, we met up with some friends and when the night was over we hugged. It was a good day. I woke up in a good mood

Am I totally crazy? Did my brain go haywire?

-P

Dear -P:

Askabumps@gmail.com says absolutley no. Your brain did not go haywire. You simply graduated to the next plane of human intelligence. Its what The Real Simon refers to as “communing with the king”. It is an evolved state so great as to connect you directly with one of the universe’s greatest dieties; Elvis. This was no accident. You must have worked super hard during your regular REM cycles to finaly make contact.
Now, lets break this down. You say at the beginning of your dream, you and Mr. Presley were wearing sailor outfits and leaving your battleship. To dream of a war ship means your are experiencing feelings of aggression. Maybe you were aggro becuase you were afraid that your adventures with the King had come to pass. To sing in your dream means that you are emotionally and spiritually fulfilled. Obviously. Dreaming of Elvis can mean only this. To dream of hugging means you need to be more affectionate. -P, The prophet Elvis preseley has visited you in your dreams to tell you to be more affectionate and let go of your aggressions. I think the best way to acheive this might be to bring us cupcakes from your wife’s bakery. Yes…elvis wants you to do this.

Sincerely,

*UPDATE* Chow Mix Dog Part 3, Home At Last

Klaus and Max

In case you haven’t read my Chow posts you can catch up with the Original, Update Part 1 and Update Part 2.
Quick overview. My wife and I found a dog, we took it to the Animal Shelter hoping the owner would find it. No one came to claim him. Then the city wanted to put him down saying that “chows are mean dogs and have the potential to harm people”. We worked with a rescue and have been fostering him until we can find a home for him.

He has been staying with my mother-inlaw ever since we saved him from the Animal Shelter. She has now officially adopted him. He is such a good dog and named him Max… but I call him “Cubby”. The above picture is of my dog Klaus (left) and Max (right). They were spending the day together today. I snapped this picture before I left for work this AM.

I’m so happy Max will be staying in the family.

This 2008 summer is a cash gushing tsunami of blockbuster glitter.

While I am excited about the tent pole parade or Iron Man and The Dark Knight, I am also excited about the little guys too.

The Promotion - This film looks about my speed, I can’t wait to see it.

In my own weird way, its like what I wanted my student film to be, but never was.

I just learned about this and thought it is worth passing on. If you’re on a computer, you’ve likely used mapquest, google maps, or yahoo maps to get directions at some point. None of these systems have available bike route maps…. yet.

There is a site called http://www.bikemetro.com/ that has a bike routing feature for OC and LA counties. It’s limited the area covered and isn’t 100% reliable (It’s been down several times over the past few months).

There’s a petition to add a “bike there” feature to google maps, being headed up by a group in Austin, Texas.
http://googlemapsbikethere.org/

You can sign their petition, asking Google to add the bike-specific features, at:

http://www.petitiononline.com/bikether/petition.html

There really is no picture for this post but I know how it’s cool to look at shit so here’s one…

Oh no, Youths!

Its not like I’m a spring chicken, I’m coming up on my won mid life crisis, but today, I felt like I lived in a freezer sealed off from whats going on in the world. I’ve never heard of Salvia before, not that I should have I don’t hang around drugs much, Shit, I’d never heard of Butt Hash either. My point is, Young people scare me, which anyone who hears my work stories will know, I fear the young. Anyway, has anyone else heard of Salvia? Sure it’s legal, but, you don’t really look that cool.

So, yesterday I was on the phone with my buddy, Adam, who was stuck in stupid jury duty and hating.  As we were talking, I made the above image in 3D, without paying attention to what I was doing.  Kinda like when you doodle during phone calls, except I was doing that in 3D.  And Will came in my room and I showed it to him after the call.  He asked me what it was for and I said it was for nothing.  He said, it is kinda funny how people can just sketch in 3D now instead on paper.  And then I thought about that and then agreed.

Who knew Whateeves bike riders were so hip hop? Last week we road to Yo Majesty! and got in free for coming on bikes with a hook up from Whereeves rider PJ. It was a good ride, and a good dance session. I had no idea we had so many good dancers in our crew?
