I made you a sweet mux

Yes, mixtapes were the best thing ever to give to somebody. I have given and received countless little treasures, and I always felt that mix cds just didn’t't have the same charisma.

The next logical technological advancement of the mix format is to put that shit on the web. Welcome to Muxtape.com.

To design your mix, simply upload mp3s from your computer in the correct order. You can only have one mux up at a time, but what makes this site so special is sifting through the random array of mixes that folks put up. I have found countless new bands and look forward to getting back to the states so I can put up my European Trip Mux!

So go mux it up whateves!

Where the Wild Things Are *Update*

Wild Things

The LA Times did a story on Friday on the status of “Where the Wild Things Are,” with an interview an exec. at Warner Brothers. Sadly it sounds like this won’t see the light of day anytime soon. I’d love to read some of the reactions the test audience had for the first screening.
“Something has gone very wrong with “Where the Wild Things Are,” the much-anticipated Spike Jonze adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s book. The $80-million film, with a script by literary cool-guy Dave Eggers, was filmed largely in the second half of 2006 in Australia. It was originally slated for release this October but got pushed back to the fall of 2009. Last week it disappeared entirely from the Warner Bros. release schedule, a sign of continuing troubles.”

Fried Frog’s Legs
Fried Cupcakes
Fried Pop Tarts
…and the recently deceased World’s Largest Horse is being fried up and sold with BBQ sauce

Who is with me?
