Huell Howser, maybe not so AMAZING.

Posted by slowXgun in Loving LA on July 28th, 2008 @ 9:36 pm

For those of you who are not Huell Howser superfans… you must know that it has come to public knowledge that he is allegedly working for THE MAN. This can certainly not be true because everyone knows that Huell would never take bribe money from BIG CORPORATE money bags such as the California Revelopment Association. I think that we should start a defense fund… do you know much he has to pay Louie for his Emmy worthy camera work?

You be judge and watch Huell’s 14 part series on revelopment in California, sponsored by the California Revelopment Association, an organization dedicated to removal of shiftless squatters throughout our Golden, Man Bear State of California. If Wally George were alive today, he would kick those anti progress Commies right out of this God Loving state and send them to some hippie fag place like San Francisco.

According to a CRA statement, “The series presents an opportunity for us to tell the redevelopment story in a compelling and intimate way. Huell and his crew will be visiting redevelopment projects in cities and counties throughout California that demonstrate inspiring, positive elements of redevelopment efforts.”

And if anyone can tell me what time the fire falls in Yosemite, I am dying to know.

Wrong headline, dude. “…maybe not so LEFTIST…”

    How shocking.

Young and/or naive people automatically assume that everyone who they happen to think is “nice” automatically agrees with all their politics. (Insert about 10,000 words from Allen Bloom here about “righteous outrage” being substituted for empirical analysis. Anyway…) As one of HH’s fans, all I’ve seen in the few interviews he’s done is that he tends to not follow political party lines, period. That he would be working with the redevelopment folks makes sense since they are a) actually doing something to try to improve everybody’s quality of life instead of just complaining and waiting for The Revolution, and b) they are trying to please everybody (small business, environmentalists, left wingers convinced that cleaning up litter constitutes oppression of the poor, history buffs, etc.) at the same time.

Yes, you are correct. Our research indicastes Huell Howser is not a hard-wing, card-carrying, line-toeing Democrat. (A caveat: I haven’t the slightest idea who he might be voting for this year. Would make for an interesting conversation, no doubt. Personally, I like interacting with people whose opinions I can’t predict.)

Anonymous, I would hope that you could detect the small amount of sarcasm in my post. If there was a place for conservatives who cross dress as liberals, I would be dancing there all night. As for now, I will continue to vote for Ross Perot, the only american who deserves to be President.
And please use some sort of name so we know who you are. Unless you are currently wearing a V is for Vendetta mask, then a name is not needed.

Tara: get out of my state too, you pinko commie, take your free loving antics somewhere like Laguna Beach
