If you haven’t been to a Guerrilla Drive In yet, you’re missing out.
The next one is coming up July 27th. So come check it out.
This past weekend the taco stand at the far corner of the
Drive In got a write up, which we got a picture in. But sadly
she spelled Guerrilla like the animal.

Saturday night (i.e. tomorrow) there will be a huge all-night arts and music festival taking
place at the Santa Monica Pier called Glow. I’m not sure what the entire deal is but there’s going to be music and huge interactive art installations going from dusk until dawn so it sounds like it could be fun. I also hear there’s going to be some big rambunctious bike ride crashing the event at some point.

The annual Bicycle Film Festival hits Los Angeles this weekend starting with a launch party on Thursday night and ending with a all-day block party at the Heliotrope/Melrose Bicycle District on Sunday which shouldn’t be missed.
| July 4, 2008 | to | July 5, 2008 |

If you don’t have any 4th Of July plans sorted out yet, we’re hosting a pool party/bbq/bike ride on the Westside.
Pool party/BBQ is at 12606 Woodbine St. in Mar Vista (near Centinela & Palms) and starts around 2pm. Please RSVP if you want to attend. Bring something to throw on the grill and some refreshing beverages. Don’t forget your sunscreen.
At 8pm sharp, we’ll be riding into Marina Del Rey to see a close-up view of the fireworks show. No RSVP necessary if you just want to ride, just get there before 8pm.
Then after the fireworks, we’ll be crashing some block parties in the street and Los Angeles bike band/performance art duo Funderstorm will be playing one last show before setting off on a coast-to-coast tour on bicycles.
HAPPY FUNMERICA DAY!

I’m going to pump up the experience to a Double Feature for Summer. It should be awesome.

Sunday June 15th, 8pm we will meet at 2nd and Beaudry in Downtown Los Angeles and watch these glorious films.
I have never seen Cool as Ice but I can’t wait to see it with a group, looks like plenty ready for heckles and following will be Point Break, nothing needs to be said about Point Break.
Carpooling and Bike crews are encouraged. Please have an FM radio to hear the film. See you there.
If you haven’t yet, add the myspace page for updates and pictures from the past screenings.
always free, always fun, keep it underground
Films were picked by Jules and Kevin.
