The Jersey Shore Wii Style
We got a little obsessed last night after watching The Jersey Shore. We only got 3 cast members, but Snooki is all you really need.

I remember going berzerker as a kid over Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out. A few friends would run home after school, dust off the NES cartridge and start playing. At the time this game was so hard. You couldn’t just punch like a mad man you had to find out all the tricks for beating each character. Your trainer Doc, would give you advice that made absolutely no sense. You would basically just have to figure out the combinations by trial and error.
I found this video online today… looks like the game came out already, so I need to head to the store!
Check out the awesome videos that Nintendo created for the game on there site: www.punchout.com

Funny show that I stumbled upon called, Party Down. Thing is funny. Rob Thomas, creator of Veronica Mars, is behind it along with Paul Rudd and a few others. Follow a crew of has-been/never-been/wannabe actors who make up a catering company from event to event. Plus, Jane Lynch is in it. C’mon.
It airs on Starz, but you can watch it on Netflix Instant Play (awesome). There are 8 episodes already available so far. Just in case you get into it.

Sit down, Shut up has already been pulled and moved to an earlier time slot. This is one way to kill a network baby. Set your DVR’s Fox is already showing signs that it is going to kill this one. It’s so good.
Sundays now at 7pm.

Dorothy Hollingsworth (f.k.a. Dorothy Zbornak) died today due to complications from cancer. She was born Dorothy Petrillo in 1929 to Italian immigrants in New York and nicknamed “Pussycat” as a child. As a teenager she married Stanley Zbornak and had two children: Michael and Kate. Dorothy and Stanley later moved to Miami but divorced after 38 years of marriage. In 1985, Dorothy moved into a home with Blanche Devereaux and Rose Nylund, later joined by her mother Sophia Petrillo. Over the course of 7 years the girls formed a unique and special bond with Dorothy, often taking pleasure in her trademark brand of dry sarcastic quips. Dorothy’s endless strength and tough-but-comforting love served as anchors to both Blanche’s brash sassiness and Rose’s endearing naiveté. Living together, the girls experienced many ups and downs and became such good friends that they all considered themselves to be family. In 1992, Dorothy married Lucas Hollingsworth and moved out. Dorothy will always be remembered for her wit, intelligence and level-headedness. She was never afraid to let you know exactly how it was and never failed to give advice when you needed it the most. For that, Dorothy… I want to personally thank you for being a friend. You will be missed.

Since FOX is the worst at launching their new babies to network viewers I’ll step in and let you know that the creators of Arrested Development have a new cartoon called, Sit down, Shut up. It premiered this weekend when no one was looking. You can check it out on Hulu. Please set your DVR, it is pretty awesome.
This video made me tear up this morning.
